The prayer is not valid unless one knows that the time has begun or has a strong presumption of it. If one prays while doubting, their prayer is not sufficient. It is permissible to rely on the information provided by trustworthy muezzins who are knowledgeable of the prayer times, as long as their error is not proven by evidence. However, if their error becomes apparent, then it is not permissible to rely on their adhan. Instead, one must wait until knowledge or a strong presumption of the prayer time's entry is attained.
