Why did the illness of the questioner increase after his supplication, even though he had expected recovery or the situation to remain as it was if Allah did not intend recovery?

Allah has wisdom in all His actions, and you must surrender and be patient. For everything that afflicts a believer is good for him. This affliction may be a means of raising your ranks with Allah. Patience is the best gift, and the patient will be given their reward without reckoning. They will receive the blessings of Allah, His mercy, and His guidance. Beware of despair and discontent, which change nothing of Allah’s decrees; rather, they deprive you of the great reward. For whomever Allah wills good, He afflicts him. Continue with treatment and supplication, and have a good opinion of Allah, for He is more merciful to you than your mother, and He decrees for you nothing but that which is in your best interest.
