How can one deal with the mixed feelings of awe towards religious figures, despair, and sadness, resulting from fear of shaykhs, societal stigma, and the statements of some preachers regarding sodomy and the fate of those who commit it, especially given the jurisprudential disagreement regarding its ruling?

These issues require an author, and we advise the questioner to conceal himself and turn away from indulging in these thoughts with Satan, especially the issue of predestination (Qadar). He should frequently engage in remembrance of Allah (dhikr), seek refuge from Satan, recite the Quran, consistently perform prayers in the mosque, attend scholarly gatherings, and discuss these matters with them respectfully. I also refer to previous fatwas that addressed the possibility of homosexuals becoming righteous and the difference between mere inclination and falling into indecency.
