Is it forbidden for women to go out to demonstrations?

We have previously mentioned the permissibility of demonstrations as a means of expression and protest against reprehensible acts. We add that the ruling on women's participation in them is the same as the ruling on men's participation, provided that it does not lead to crowding with non-mahram men. Organizers must separate between the sexes.
