Is a person rewarded for acquiring religious books and benefiting from them?

Purchasing religious books, benefiting from them, and benefiting others with them, is a form of engagement with knowledge. Many proofs have been narrated regarding the virtue of knowledge and the encouragement to seek it, learn it, and teach it, such as the Almighty's saying: "Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whomever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding in the religion," and "Whoever treads a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise." Purchasing Islamic books to benefit from them is considered one of the ways of seeking knowledge, and the money spent on them will be rewarded for the Muslim if he intends thereby the Face of Allah.
