Does a supplication reach the deceased, and what does he feel, and is the deceased aware of the righteous deeds performed on his behalf?

One must hasten to offer sincere repentance for establishing relationships between non-mahram men and women, as Islam prohibited such relationships to prevent corruption. Supplicating for the deceased and dedicating the reward of good deeds performed by the living benefits the deceased, and its reward reaches them, according to the preponderant opinion of scholars. It is advisable to turn one's heart away from thinking about the deceased and to attach one's heart solely to Allah Almighty for peace of mind and for the betterment of one's present and ultimate state.
