Am I sinful if I bring a computer into the house that my siblings use for wasting time and without benefit to them?

Time holds great significance in Islam, and Allah has sworn by parts of time in the Quran. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also drew attention to its importance. Although Islam emphasizes the optimal utilization of time, it permits recreation through permissible games that stimulate the mind and strengthen the body, provided that this does not lead to extravagance or neglect of duties. Therefore, if the use of the device does not result in missing prayers or neglecting rights, and does not reach the point of extravagance or viewing prohibitions, then there is no harm in it.
