Was the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) born circumcised, or was he circumcised later?

Ibn Al-Qayyim mentioned three opinions regarding the circumcision of the Prophet (peace be upon him):

1. That he was born circumcised: Ibn Al-Qayyim cited many hadiths regarding this, but he judged them to be weak. He also explained that being born circumcised was not considered a virtue, but rather a defect among Arabs.

2. That Jibril circumcised him when he split his chest: Ibn Al-Qayyim explained the weakness of this narration, deeming it anomalous and strange.

3. That his grandfather Abd Al-Muttalib circumcised him according to the custom of the Arabs: Ibn Al-Adeem stated that this narration is more likely to be correct and closer to reality. Ibn Al-Qayyim indicated that this is the most probable opinion, and that the Prophet was circumcised according to the custom of the Arabs.
