How does a beginner student of knowledge start studying Hanbali Fiqh, and how does he combine issues with their evidences?

A student of knowledge should choose a trustworthy and proficient shaykh who can teach them fiqh progressively. A student of the Hanbali school can start with Daleel al-Talib or Zad al-Mustaqni‘, while focusing on understanding and mastering the issues before delving into their evidences. Manar al-Sabeel by Ibn Duwayyan can be used to learn the evidences for the issues in al-Daleel, which were often derived from Ibn Qudamah's al-Kafi. After this stage, the student can expand to books like Kashshaaf al-Qinaa‘ and Matalib Uli al-Nuha. There is also a beneficial book by Shaykh Ahmad al-Qa'imi titled Madarij Tafaqquh al-Hanbali.
