What should a female student do with the 10 extra dinars given to her by mistake over the value of the check, knowing that she discovered the increase after returning home?

You must return the excess amount to the employee, because it was given to you by mistake, due to what was narrated from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, that he said: "The hand is responsible for what it has taken until it returns it."
