Is it permissible to marry a Russian Christian woman who has decided to embrace Islam, knowing that she has repented from previous relationships?

It is permissible to marry a chaste Christian woman, as Almighty Allah says: "And [lawful for you are] the chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you." However, it is preferable to marry a Muslim woman to ensure the proper upbringing of children, knowing that guiding a soul to Islam is better than the world and all that it contains, and a disbeliever is not permitted to touch the Qur’an.
