What is the ruling on creating a competition website to win worldly products, where the organizer profits from participants opening advertising links, and they are asked to perform tasks such as inviting a friend, downloading an application, or answering a survey question that benefits the company supplying the products, then they enter a draw which they may or may not win?

The basic principle is that it is impermissible to compete for a prize except in archery, horse racing, and camel racing, or anything that falls under their meaning, such as matters related to jihad, and what aids in the glorification of religion, like Islamic knowledge. The competition mentioned is not related to any of these. Therefore, we do not see its permissibility, nor the permissibility of creating a website for the aforementioned عرض (offer/presentation).
