Does the emergence of pus or a small amount of blood from a wound invalidate fasting?

Bleeding from wounds does not invalidate the fast, except in the case of cupping (hijama), which is more authentically considered to break the fast, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "The one who cups and the one who is cupped have broken their fast." As for blood coming out due to a nosebleed or involuntary wounds, it does not harm the fast. Some scholars differentiate between blood that exits by a person's intentional action and choice in a large quantity, which breaks the fast, and blood that exits involuntarily, which does not break the fast. The discharge of pus from wounds does not break the fast.
