Is it permissible to wear clothes that contain images of living beings, whether they are apparent or hidden, large or very small and unnoticeable, and what is the ruling if they are children's clothes?

It is not permissible to draw or photograph animate beings, whether by sculpting or on paper or cloth. This is because the one who does so will be tormented on the Day of Judgment, and because angels do not enter a house that contains images. An exception to this is images that are disrespected (trodden upon), such as images on carpets and pillows. As for images on clothes, there is a difference of opinion regarding them, and it is safer to avoid them unless they are small and hidden inside the collar, or if they are incomplete in a way that life would not remain with them.
