Was the verse "And it is not for a prophet to defraud" revealed concerning the clanking of the Prophet's servant?

The exegetes mentioned seven opinions regarding the reason for the revelation of the verse: "It is not for a Prophet to defraud (or embezzle)", the most authentic of which is that it was revealed due to the loss of a red velvet cloak on the Day of Badr and some people saying, "Perhaps the Prophet took it."

As for the story of Karkara, it is authentically reported in Sahih al-Bukhari that he was in charge of the Prophet's baggage. When he died, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He is in the Hellfire." Then they found a cloak that he had embezzled.
