Is it permissible to sue the contracting company that failed to fulfill its verbally agreed-upon promises, such as increasing salary, allowing the bringing of family, and changing working hours in a manner that violates Qatari law, or is it sufficient to merely supplicate against it?

The company's breach of what was agreed upon in the contract is forbidden and a violation of the covenant, for Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [your] contracts," and for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."

The practical steps to follow are: 1. Increase supplication and turn to Allah. 2. Go to the person with whom the agreement was made and remind him of Allah and of fulfilling contracts. 3. Go to someone higher than him, if possible, to explain the matter to him. 4. If they do not give you justice, then take your case to the judiciary, and before that, try mediation by people of standing.
