Is perfuming oneself with fragrances permissible in Ramadan?

It is permissible to use perfume in Ramadan, and it does not invalidate the fast. Aromatic scents and others do not break the fast. However, a fasting person should not inhale incense or powdered perfume, such as powdered musk. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen permitted the use of perfume for the fasting person, whether it be incense, oil, or anything else, except that it is not permissible to inhale incense because it has perceptible particles that ascend to the stomach.
