What should I do regarding my father who deals with a sorcerer, and should I destroy the papers I find with him, and what is the way to protect my father from this danger?

Sorcery is one of the gravest sins and a form of disbelief. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, counted it among the seven destructive sins and warned against going to sorcerers. The papers containing talismans should be burned if possible without harm; otherwise, the father should be advised gently and wisely to attend circles of knowledge, listen to admonitions, and read books by scholars. He should be informed about the cure for sorcery and envy, and the means of protection through reliance on Allah and supplication, while seeking Allah's help and persistently supplicating.
