What is the ruling on receiving a prize from an online competition if the internet is used for work and participating in the competition did not affect work performance?

It is permissible to benefit from the prize if the competition is legitimate, and participation in it is during free time or with the permission of the employer. However, if the competition is illegitimate, the prize must be given away as charity. And if the competition is legitimate, but there is negligence in fulfilling work duties, then the prize is rightfully owned, and the employer must be compensated for the extent of the negligence.
