It is not permissible to work in a place that sells alcohol and pork, because the cashier who receives money from the buyer is considered an assistant in their sale and in consuming their price. Both are forbidden, and it is not permissible to sell them, consume their price, or assist in that. The fact that the husband's income is limited does not make this work permissible except in cases of dire necessity.
