Is it obligatory to boycott Facebook after it allowed the publication of offensive images of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, despite its use for spreading the religion and having a large follower base?

It appears that this site should not be boycotted due to the overriding benefit of using it for calling to Allah and spreading the true religion, especially since it is known for its large number of users. A boycott by some will not be beneficial, except for what accrues to the boycotter himself as an expression of his denunciation of evil. This is while reminding the questioner of the importance of limiting her da'wah efforts to women, her own gender, and not men, in order to avert temptation and block the means to evil.
