What is the ruling on praying two rak'ahs before the obligatory Maghrib prayer according to the four schools of thought?

The two-rak'ah prayer after sunset and before the Maghrib prayer is considered disliked (makruh) by the Hanafis and Malikis, due to the possibility of it delaying the Maghrib prayer. It is a non-emphasized Sunnah (sunnah ghayr mu'akkadah) according to the Shafi'is, and permissible – neither disliked nor recommended – according to the Hanbalis. The most preponderant opinion is that it is an established Sunnah, based on the actions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), his approval, and his command regarding it, as mentioned in the hadiths.
