Is it permissible for an employee, who does not meet the conditions for the internal grant because he is an employee, and whose university study costs are exorbitant, and who is in dire need of financial assistance, to register for this grant which stipulates that the applicant must not be an employee? And what is the ruling on combining this grant (if permissible) with the support amount provided by his company, or donating one of them?
It is recommended to supplicate and seek refuge with Allah Almighty, for whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better, and whoever fears Allah, He will make for him ease in his affair and provide for him from where he does not expect. It is not permissible to manipulate the conditions of the scholarship and register for it unjustly, and the situation must be clarified to the responsible authority. The intention to give charity with one of the two stipends does not make it permissible to take what is not rightfully one's own. It is mentioned in the Hadith: "Let not the delay in provision lead you to seek it through disobedience to Allah, for what is with Allah can only be attained through obedience to Him," and "Indeed, a man is deprived of provision because of a sin he commits," and "Indeed, you will not abandon anything for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, except that Allah will replace it for you with something better than it."
