What is the ruling on delaying the fulfillment of a vow to sacrifice two animals for the sake of Allah upon the birth of a child and their reaching forty days of age? Is it permissible to fulfill it in a country other than the one in which it was vowed? What is the method of its distribution? Is it permissible to eat from it or invite someone to it?

One must hasten to fulfill the vow as soon as the child completes forty days. Regarding eating from the vowed offering, if you intended that you, your neighbors, and your relatives eat from it, then you may do so. Otherwise, distribute it to the poor and needy and do not eat anything from it, as the general rule for vows is that they are for the poor, unless you intended otherwise. It is advisable not to make vows in the future, due to the prohibition by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Also, the phrase "fate willed" should be corrected to "Allah willed" or similar expressions, as the will belongs to Allah alone.
