Is it obligatory to divorce a wife if it is discovered on the wedding day that she is not a virgin?

If a man marries a woman and finds her to be a thayyib (non-virgin), then either he stipulated her virginity or he did not. If he stipulated her virginity and found her to be a thayyib due to intercourse, then he has the option (to annul the marriage). However, if her thiyubah was due to something other than intercourse, he does not have this option. If he did not stipulate virginity but merely assumed it, then he has no option. The option remains valid as long as the person who holds it does not issue anything indicating his contentment. The man is not obligated to divorce or annul the marriage, and his continuation with his wife may be considered among good manners.
