Were the Four Imams (Abu Hanifa, Malik, Al-Shafi'i, Ibn Hanbal) married and did they have children?

Marriage is among the practices of the prophets, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged it due to its role in lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity. Whoever deviates from the Prophet’s practice has indeed strayed from his guidance. It has been confirmed that all four Imams married and were blessed with offspring by Allah. The ruling on marriage varies according to each individual; it can be obligatory or recommended. There is no doubt that the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is marriage.
