Is the prayer of one who has mastered Tajwid valid behind one who has not mastered it, and is it obligatory for the father and mother to learn the rules of Tajwid for their prayer to be valid?

It is recommended to advise your father and brothers to perform prayers in the mosque due to the virtue of congregational prayer, and because some scholars have made it obligatory to attend it. As for praying behind your father, Tajweed is partly obligatory and partly recommended. The obligatory part is to pronounce the letters from their correct articulation points without changing the meaning. Learning this is obligatory, and it is impermissible to neglect it. Whoever makes a mistake in reciting Al-Fatiha that changes its meaning, prayer behind him is not permissible. As for other aspects of Tajweed that enhance the recitation, they are recommended. Accordingly, if the father makes a mistake that changes the meaning, prayer behind him is not permissible. If he neglects the recommended Tajweed, prayer behind him is permissible. If the brother is an adult and recites better than the father, he has more right to lead the prayer.
