Is it permissible to hold the Mus-haf and follow the Imam during Tarawih prayers?

It is not appropriate for the congregant to hold the behind the Imam unless the Imam needs someone to open the Mushaf for him, because doing so distracts the mind from reflection and listening, and causes one to miss the of placing the right hand over the left on the chest.
