Is it permissible to recite the Qur’an while producing the melody from the nose due to an inability to chant except in this manner?

Improving one's voice when reciting the Qur’an is a commendable act, and a beautiful voice enhances the Qur’an's beauty. It is part of its tartil (rhythmic recitation) and tajwid (art of recitation), and includes producing the ghunnah from the nasal passage, which is specific to the letters nun and mim. However, increasing the ghunnah excessively, or forcing it when it is not required, or adding excessive melodic embellishments, falls under affectation and error in recitation. While it does not invalidate the recitation or result in sin, it is considered a defect.
