Do the angels see their Lord, and how is their belief in Him—mentioned in Surah Ghafir, verse seven—explained, given that belief is usually in the unseen?

The Hadith: "I asked Gabriel, 'Do you see your Lord?'" and the Hadith: "A man from the Jews asked the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, 'Has Allah veiled Himself from His creation...'" are both weak and denounced. However, the origin of the veil is firmly established in Sahih Muslim: "His veil is Light. Were He to remove it, the effulgence of His Face would burn up everything His sight reaches of His creation." This veil prevents creation from seeing Allah, it does not mean Allah Himself is veiled. The angels have not seen Allah Almighty.
