Do the angels see the light of God's glory without seeing the Lord, Blessed and Exalted be He? Is the abode of the angels considered to be of this world? Are the Throne of the Most Merciful and His Footstool (Kursi) of this world or the Hereafter? And is the unseen world of this world or the Hereafter?

Angels are in heaven and can descend to earth to perform their tasks. Heaven is part of this world and will perish when the Hour comes. Angels do not see Allah in this world, but they will see Him in the Hereafter, like the rest of the believers, for Allah is veiled from His creation. The Throne (al-'Arsh) and the Footstool (al-Kursī) will not perish with the perishing of this world, for they are among the enduring creations, like the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawḥ), the Pen (al-Qalam), Paradise (al-Jannah), Hellfire (an-Nār), souls, and the coccyx (ajb adh-dhanab).
