What is the ruling on giving female students two statuettes in the form of two birds?

It is permissible for young, pre-pubescent female students to use dolls with images for the purpose of play and to practice raising children and organizing homes. This is an exception to the general prohibition of images. Evidence for this is found in what was narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, regarding her playing with dolls in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his approval of it. However, once girls reach puberty, the use of dolls and images is prohibited because they prevent angels from entering.
