Is it permissible to swear a false oath to prevent strife and bloodshed, in the event of a dispute between two families that could lead to continuous fighting?

If you know who struck the young man and caused his paralysis, he must be handed over to the judiciary for retribution if it was intentional. His responsibility is not absolved except by this, and it is not permissible for his tribe to conceal him. However, if what happened was an accident, then blood money (Diyya) is due according to the Islamic judiciary. If you do not know who injured him, you may swear an oath that you do not know.
