There is no blame upon the person afflicted by obsessive doubts (waswas) for adopting the easiest of scholarly opinions, in order to alleviate hardship and repel difficulty. It is permissible for him to adopt the opinion of some scholars regarding one issue related to things that invalidate the fast, and the opinion of another scholar regarding a different issue within the same chapter. This dispensation is permitted by necessity.
