Is masturbation forbidden in a time when images of naked women are abundant?

Masturbation is impermissible due to clear religious evidence from the Quran and Sunnah prohibiting it. The presence of nude women does not justify committing what Allah has forbidden. A Muslim must lower his gaze from what Allah has forbidden and keep himself chaste through lawful means, such as marriage. For those who cannot, they should resort to fasting.
