Is it unlawful to uncover the hands while working in front of men?

A woman must cover her entire body in front of non-mahram men, except for the face and hands. Scholars have differed regarding the face and hands; some have made it obligatory to cover them when there is a fear of temptation (fitna). A woman must cover her hands in front of men, whether at work or elsewhere. Modesty and faith prevent the believing woman from exposing any part of her body in front of those who are not her mahrams.
