What is the ruling on a father leaving his children with their divorced mother, whose religiosity he does not trust, despite her affirmation of her Islam and her desire to return to it, while he wishes to marry another and return to his country, bringing his children during holidays?

A Muslim's residence in the land of disbelievers poses a danger to his religion and morals. Therefore, strive to bring your children to you, and exert all permissible means you can, even by stratagem, if no great harm results from it.

If you succeed in this, return with them to your Muslim country to teach them Islam, and marry a religious woman. If you are unable to bring them to you, then return to your country to marry and safeguard your religion. Invite them to visit you whenever possible, while maintaining communication with them, guiding them, inquiring about their well-being, and awaiting opportunities to bring them to you in your Muslim country. Seek assistance from Allah and supplicate frequently.
