Do the aforementioned fatwas (103653, 43474, 107033) include prohibiting the disposal of foodstuff bags and wrappers with writing on them in the trash, and does the great hardship involved in that have any legitimate religious consideration, and is it permissible to apply the rule "when a matter becomes difficult, it expands" without consulting scholars?

A Muslim is keen to dispose of papers written in Arabic script by burning or shredding them, and not by throwing them in the wastebasket, out of reverence for their sanctity. If observing this becomes difficult, there is no sin, according to the verse: "He has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty" (Al-Hajj: 78). One is not required to track every discarded paper due to their abundance in shops and streets.
