What is it commendable to do when performing ablution? And what is to be recited after it?

The description of the legal ablution (Wudu') is as follows: Pouring water over the palms three times, then rinsing the mouth and nose three times, then washing the face three times, then washing the arms up to the elbows three times, then wiping the head and ears once, then washing the feet up to the ankles three times. Two times or even one time suffices. It is sunnah to say "Bismillah" (in the name of Allah) before ablution due to the hadith: "There is no ablution for one who does not mention the name of Allah upon it." After it, one should say: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me among those who purify themselves."
