Is there any doubt regarding the attribution of the book "Tawq al-Hamamah" to Imam Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi?

Ibn Hazm is attributed with the authorship of the book "Tawq al-Hamamah" (The Dove's Neck-Ring) by Ibn al-Qayyim and al-Maqqari al-Maghribi. The book contains accounts that confirm this attribution. The reason for doubt stems from the fact that the book is not mentioned among Ibn Hazm's works in biographical and historical texts. However, al-Maqqari, being a historian of Andalusia, is considered more knowledgeable in this regard. Nevertheless, there are discrepancies between what al-Maqqari narrated from the book and what is currently found in it, which suggests that the book has undergone alterations.
