However, they mentioned concerning the revocable divorce of a thrice-divorced woman that forbidden intercourse by the second husband makes her lawful for the first. The Hanbalis, on the other hand, explicitly stated the validity of revocable divorce even if it occurs through intercourse during menstruation or in a state of ihram, as there is no consideration for whether the intercourse is lawful or forbidden.
