Can one who has wronged himself escape being encompassed by sin, and what is the meaning of "his sin has encompassed him," and does this include addicts, and is an addict considered a polytheist?

The noble verse speaks of disbelievers who died upon disbelief. The evil deed intended here is shirk (associating partners with Allah), which is the sin Allah does not forgive and which encompasses the servant, leading to their eternal dwelling in Hell. As for all other sins, their perpetrator is under Allah's will. The person addicted to disobedience is not included in this verse, and the door of repentance is open to every disobedient person. Even a polytheist, if they repent sincerely, Allah will forgive them.
