The spouses must treat each other with kindness and respect. What is apparent is the wife's mistake in not answering her husband's call, but the matter is minor and does not warrant discord. The basis of the relationship is compassion, understanding, and overlooking mistakes. It is among the good manners of a woman to strive to please her husband. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned that among the women of Paradise are the affectionate, fertile, and ever-returning to her husband, who, if she harms or is harmed, comes and takes her husband's hand and says: "By Allah, I shall not taste sleep until you are pleased."
