The Hadith indicates the obligation to obey leaders even if they are unjust. This ruling is a specific exception to the general verses regarding retaliation in kind. This obedience is due to the ruler who holds authority, whether just or unjust, to prevent the disunity of Muslims. This is accompanied by the obligation to condemn disobedience without withdrawing allegiance. The ruler must advise his subjects, attend to their affairs, and abstain from injustice. Injustice is forbidden, and its prohibition and ugliness increase when it originates from one in authority.
