How do we reconcile Allah’s saying: “Then he said, ‘I am your most exalted lord’” with His saying: “and he will forsake you and your gods”?

The intended meaning of his deities might be his obedience and worship, or that he worshipped a cow, stars, or idols. The ancient Egyptians worshipped multiple deities such as planets and elements, including "Ptah," "Ra" (the sun), "Osiris," "Isis," "Horus," "Thoth" (the moon), and "Amun-Ra," in addition to minor idols like the calf and scarabs. Pharaoh was considered the son of the gods, and divinity resided within him, so he was considered the god of Egypt, and obedience to him was obedience to the gods.
