The answer

If it is proven that a man consumes people's rights, it is permissible for them to supplicate against him and demand their rights through the judiciary. It is feared that their supplication may be answered, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah," and his saying: "The supplication of the oppressed is raised by Allah above the clouds, and the gates of heaven are opened for it, and the Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, says: 'By My might and majesty, I shall surely grant you victory, even if after a while.'"
