It is not permissible to harm a Muslim's corpse in any way, except out of dire necessity, because the sanctity of the deceased is like the sanctity of the living, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Breaking the bone of a dead person is like breaking it while he is alive." Therefore, it is not permissible to strike a Muslim's corpse, even in a state of extreme anger.
