Finding acts of worship burdensome and feeling distress when performing them is not considered hypocrisy. The believer must strive against himself until this burden is lifted, and he finds peace of mind and comfort in worship. The one who performs worship with a willing heart receives a greater reward, but the second one is not devoid of recompense, and it is hoped that through striving, he will find the sweetness of obedience. One must be wary of giving in to whispers [of doubt/Satanic suggestions].
