Is it possible to feel that Allah, the Most Glorified and Exalted, is speaking to me, and to hear a voice saying: "Do you love me, so-and-so?"

What happens to a believer in terms of the inspirations they receive may be from God, but one cannot be certain of this. It could be from the whispers of Satan, because inspired individuals who receive inspirations are not infallible prophets. Satan may whisper things to them that are not from the inspiration of the Lord. One must be careful not to let Satan tempt a Muslim into self-satisfaction and believing they are righteous.
