Does placing a small piece of cotton inside the vagina to prevent natural discharge (moisture) keep one's ablution valid for more than one prayer?

Ablution (wudu') is nullified by the emission of discharge to the outer vulva, which is what becomes visible when a woman squats to relieve herself. If nothing is emitted, ablution is not nullified. But if something is emitted, it is nullified. A woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) must use a cotton pad or similar item for containment. This containment does not prevent the nullification of ablution. If the cotton pad enters the inner part of the vulva, ablution is nullified upon its exit if it is wet. There is a difference of opinion regarding its nullification if it exits dry, but it is safer to perform ablution.
